He is unwilling to pay, citing financial issues, and has acknowledged that his treatment of the matter has been “unprofessional.” In October of 2011 he said he could begin making weekly payments toward the balance. I responded that such a plan was amendable. He failed to respond to my response.</p> <p>This client is gainfully employed and living in New York City—were he neither of these things, I would simply let the matter drop. As it stands, however, I am now considering taking the matter to the New York City Small Claims Court.</p> <p>Should I proceed?
